Maralim
Maralim is an asparagus variety that is suitable for the cultivation of white asparagus. The production is very good and the stems are very tasty.
Cultivation
Maralim grows well on sandy soils that are well-drained, with a planting density of 5 plants/m² and a planting depth of 15-25 cm. If the plants are planted deeper, the harvest will start later. Good irrigation ensures a good yield.
Plant properties
Maralim is very productive and has good-quality stems. The stems are thick, hardly sensitive to hollowness or breaks and the tip closure is good.
Disease and pest resistance
The stems are not susceptible to rust.
