About Neessen

Neessen strawberry and asparagus plants were founded in 1906 by Jacobus Steeghs. The company grew and stayed a family business in the following years. Now the company specializes in:

  • The propagation and cultivation of high-quality starting material for strawberry plants
  • Propagating strawberry plants for strawberry growers
  • The cultivation of asparagus plants for asparagus growers

In addition, we also grow production asparagus, sugar beets and some other arable crops. In 2010, the cultivation of cut hydrangeas, pot hydrangeas, and astilbes started.
