Cygnus
Cygnus is an asparagus variety suitable for the cultivation of white asparagus. The variety is medium early and has a good production.
Cultivation
A planting density of 5 or 6 plants/m² is recommended. Cygnus is easy to grow in a tunnel or under black and white foil.
Plant properties
The stems of Cygnus are thick and of good quality. The variety has a good tip closure and is not sensitive to hollowness. Productivity is good.
Disease and pest resistance
Cygnus is tolerant to many common foliage diseases.
