Bacchus is an asparagus variety suitable for growing green asparagus. The plants are productive and have a good stem thickness.
Cultivation
Bacchus grows well at a planting density of 3.5 or 5 plants/m² and a planting depth of 15-22 cm. Bacchus is easy to grow under a tunnel.
Plant properties
Bacchus is an early variety with a high yield. The stems are uniform, have a good quality and nicely closed heads.
Disease and pest resistance
Bacchus has good resistance to foliage diseases.
