This variety is suitable for both open-field and substrate cultivation and continuously produces new blossoms. For trellis cultivation, the flower stalks are long enough and easy to remove. Support ties are highly recommended. The variety exhibits very strong tolerance to Phytophthora cactorum and powdery mildew. The achenes of Ferris are set slightly deeper, which contributes to its attractive appearance.
